Arinex Successfully Manages Complex Program for the International Congress on Mathematical Education 2024
INCON Partner Arinex has successfully managed the intricate program for the 15th International Congress on Mathematical Education (ICME-15), held from July 7-14, 2024, at ICC Sydney. Recognized as the premier global event in mathematics education, ICME-15 brought together educators, researchers, and thought leaders to explore the latest trends in mathematics education and teaching practices.
Addressing Challenges of Complexity and Tight Timelines
Appointed just a year before the event, Arinex faced the challenge of designing a comprehensive eight-day program featuring 54 Topic Study Groups, each focusing on specific themes within the congress. With limited time for stakeholder engagement, Arinex swiftly developed a tailored program management approach to meet the high standards expected of this prestigious global event.

Effective Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Regular communication with the Organising Committee (OC) and stakeholders ensured a structured flow of information, setting clear deadlines, defining roles, and aligning all parties throughout the planning process.
Collaborative Program Development: Working closely with the OC, Arinex developed a detailed program that reflected the congress’s strategic objectives and latest innovations in mathematics education. This collaborative effort allowed the 54 Topic Study Groups to showcase specialized research and practice areas.
Leveraging Advanced Technology: Arinex utilized custom speaker management software tailored for ICME-15, which streamlined the coordination of presentation uploads and abstract submissions. This cloud-based solution enabled seamless collaboration across multiple locations, enhancing efficiency for all involved.
Delivering a Comprehensive Program Ahead of Schedule
Arinex’s strategic management led to the successful release of the congress program ahead of schedule on the ICME-15 website and app. The program featured over 60 international thought leaders across 11 components, covering 54 themes and running concurrently in 28 rooms.
