Sydney Conference Centre’s Digital Supremacy Featured
INCON has published its latest best practice case study, which features the 2018 digital infrastructure award winners ICC Sydney. The case study demonstrates why ICC Sydney has been selected as a leading global venue for its digital infrastructure. Distinguishing features include its high-density wireless infrastructure coupled with its impressive in-house technology team, procedures and policies.
The case study features best-in-class client events such as the Salesforce World Tour events, where ICC Sydney accommodated more than 6000 concurrent Wi-Fi users across 150 sessions. Sydney also stands apart due to the number of clients, (who previously used external event technology vendors), that put their trust in ICC Sydney’s technology team in the delivery of their technologically complex events e.g. ServiceNow, OpenStack Summit and SAP. For the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, ICC Sydney’s team also delivered a tailored solution to meet the event’s complex digital requirements, including cyber security and vulnerability management with live monitoring.
Patrizia Buongiorno, VP of AIM Group International and INCON Co Chair said: “We are delighted that Sydney has won the award and the case study is a great opportunity for other conference venues to learn from one of the best in the industry.”
Geoff Donaghy, CEO, ICC Sydney remarked: “The venue’s commitment to the success of its clients was heralded by this recognition from INCON. We are in the business of ensuring our clients and their delegates have world class experiences during every event at ICC Sydney and this prestigious award is a ringing endorsement of our commitment.”
INCON has teamed up with a broad coalition of strategic partners to support the development and promotion of the global award. The partners include: IACC, ICCA, Best Cities, IMEX, Iceberg with media partner: Association Meetings International.
Application for the 2019 Digital Infrastructure Award is now open. An application can be completed at www.incon-pco.com/award. There is no entry fee. All it takes for a venue to be considered is to fill in an application with full details about your venue and return it by 29th of March 2019.
