Initiated in 2018 by French President, Emmanuel Macron, and Paris Peace Forum founder, Justin Vaïsse, the theme of the 5th edition of the Paris Peace Forum – held on 11th and 12th November – was "Overcoming the multi-crisis”; collective thinking on major future challenges in a post-COVID world as well as complex environmental, societal and geopolitical changes.
For MCI, it was first and foremost a question of developing solutions and strategies that would place the Paris Peace Forum at the centre of global current affairs as well as supporting this major international event with seamless on-site logistics.
As with previous editions, Heads of State, NGO representatives, economic players and solution makers were invited to attend the two-day event on the French National Armistice Day to discuss future-focused issues and challenges faced by our societies and launch positive initiatives to overcome these issues.
More than 4,800 international invited visitors actively participated in the Forum programme which included 80 plenary sessions, workshops and round tables, and the opportunity for participants to meet and exchange with 60 solutions makers who presented their innovative solutions for the future.
Perfectly in line with the Paris Peace Forum’s ambitions, MCI was able to demonstrate a specialised skillset that goes well beyond the logistical aspects required by the event.
To grow awareness of the Paris Peace Forum in France and beyond and to showcase its spokespeople’s expertise, MCI joined forces with logos France and DiG, two mci group brands specialised in press relation and social intelligence strategies.
The forum took five months of preparation, four days of set-up and no less than 846 talents involved in the delivery of the event.
Preparations are well underway for 2023 with both teams working together to bring the latest innovations to life and make the 6th edition, to take place at the end of the year, a success.
MCI’s 360° approach combining event engineering (including Realives, MCI’s in-house HR videoconferencing platform), strategic and editorial support, and creativity supported by the Association Forum de Paris sur la Paix team contributed to amplify the impact of this major event with some rewarding results:
Up to 15,000 live stream views
55 members of the media attended the press conference (27 international and 28 French journalists).
Nearly 380 press coverage
3 million tweet impressions during the two days of the Forum
720 broadcasting streams
47.3K media outreach
100,000 media interactions
